We Made It!

The East Martin Youth Group plus plenty of chaperones arrived in shifts between 9 and noon today. We're a little tired, but all here. The Bouman-mobile even made it. :) Doug and Mary were overnight in Laurel, Mississippi visiting CRWRC friends. Trinity Baptist has a great set-up and welcomed us with warm showers. The guys are out and about reviewing job sites, the ladies are shopping at the Winn-Dixie for "healthy snacks", and the kids are playing games/watching videos. We're hoping to see New Orleans tomorrow after morning worship. Thanks for all the prayers for our trip down, we'll be in touch!

I appreciate the work that you are doing. My kids did a mission trip on spring break down south. Enjoy the warm weather and God Bless! ---Bill Steffen from WOOD-TV

Hi guys!
So glad to read that you made it safely! I will post a couple pics of the group getting set to depart on the blog too. Bill Steffen had an interesting blog today--you'll have to read it if you have time. http://blogs.woodtv.com/?cat=1
Anyway, I left him a post and that's why he visited our site here and left you a comment too.

Hope that your morning worship experience is wonderful, and enjoy your trip to New Orleans! Have a safe and blessed week.

Hi Everyone!
I'm so glad to hear you made it there safely. I hope you got a good night sleep because you have a big week ahead of you. Be proud of yourselves for choosing to do God's work over your spring break instead of working at your job for money or relaxing else where. Have fun, work hard, stay safe and remember in everything you do and say, you are a witness for the Lord! You are in our thoughts and prayers! Have an awesome memorable week!

Hi East Martin Gang,
We are glad to hear that you have one successful day of work completed in spite of the critters. PLEASE do not bring them home with you.
We look forward to reading about your daily activities.
We pray for continued good weather and work accomplishments.
See you Saturday. Travel Safe.
